A Story of Redemption, Hope, and Real Change

Dear Blended Together Forever Friends,

I wanted to share something meaningful with you all. Something raw, honest, and genuinely powerful.

In this week's podcast, Bryan Donoho shares what it looked like to spend over 20 years in addiction, with the last 10 years in and out of prison, and what it took to start rebuilding his life after being released in 2023.

He talks about starting The Dirtbag Chronicles, becoming a peer recovery support specialist at the same reentry center he graduated from to be granted parole, later stepping into the role of director at Covenant Recovery, and now working with The Haven, helping connect people to the treatment and support they need.

Bryan also opens up about his early view of Christianity and God, and how it was shaped by fear, shame, and religious conditioning rather than a real relationship. As he began unlearning those beliefs and opened himself to something more genuine, his life started changing from the inside out..

He leaves listeners with a simple but powerful reminder:

"this too shall pass—and the only thing we can’t do is give up."

Making the family WHOLE again!
