Greetings from Nashville & Pinecove

Dear friends and family,

This is a full weekend for both Gina and myself, so above all, we would ask you to pray for us.

Here is a beautiful picture from Pinecove along with Gina’s update of what is happening with the hearts of beauty weekend.

Hearts of Beauty UPDATE:

Gina stated we’ve noticed a lot of different locations that the ladies are coming from. In fact every year it is pretty diverse, so here is a little break down: This weekend there will be about 246 of us from 101 different cities!! -> 13 different states/providences!! -> 2 different countries!! It is going to be an amazing HOB! ?❤️

As for me, I have two highlights to share with all of you. First, my time with Ron Deal and his wife, Nan last night was great, and he was asking “what can we do to help you?” Meaning, Blended Together Forever. And I quickly said “staff.“ There are many doors open, speaking opportunities, networking with new people, more connections, but we need help.

Secondly, my heart breaks when John McGee from Watermark shared his talk from the stage. Here’s what he said…

“ I told my team we were going to take a field trip to family court. When we got there, we went out 2×2 and just listened. At lunch we would debrief. We heard a wife saying how bad her husband was, and then the husband say how bad his wife was, and what needed to happen with their son 17-year-old son. It was terrible.

But here’s the line that was eye-opening. He looked at the audience and he said, “what you think happens to that 17-year-old… 2X that.“

John went on to say, “People have given up on God, and then they’ve given up on marriage. You could also say that in reverse. People first gave up on marriage, and then they gave up on God.” His concluding comment was “what we are doing matters.”

Help us. Pray for us, help us financially, help us find volunteers who could help as staff members. We are grateful for your friendship and your prayers.

We are praying as the Lord directs us. He is opening doors to help spread hope and healing to blended families. As we have stated before, the traditional church is not meeting the needs of this large and growing segment of their congregation. Typically, a church is meeting only about 50% of the blended families.

We stand with you in prayer and we thank you for your friendship.

Making the family WHOLE again,

Craig and Gina
